Competition Rules:
Equipment:Exclusively equipment which is appropriate to alpine ski-touring – skis must be equipped with steel edges and touring bindings, boots must have a Vibram sole; Choice of skins; Ski crampons as needed; Headlamps (incl. spare battery) are required after dark; Skis and boots must be worn in a manner customary to ski-touring!Changing Skins:
Without exception, skins may only be changed without any third-party assistance. Only official race personnel are allowed to intervene.Important:
Helmets must be worn during the downhill stages – no exceptions!
Conditions of Participation:
Entrants expressly acknowledge that the event organizer is in no way liable for losses, accidents or other unforeseen circumstances before, during or after the event. Participants expressly forego all legal recourse against the event organizer and confirm through their registration that they are physically healthy and sufficiently well-trained to participate in this competition.Minimum age requirement for the individual competition: 18; Team: 16. Participants who are older than 60 years of age, will require a physician’s attestation to their appropriate level of physical fitness.
The event organiser is entitled to alter the course due to inclement weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. Should a dangerous situation exist, the organizer has the right to cancel or prematurely interrupt the event. The entry fee and any other related expenses can in no way be reimbursed, either wholly or in part.
